Tina Lentz-McMillan
I believe healing is deeply relational.
Whether that relationship is with others, the land, or your self, I want to create a space that welcomes connections.
My therapeutic style is strengths-based and rooted in Feminist relational-cultural theory, decoloniality, social justice, and anti-racist and anti-oppressive therapy. I practice my own resistance and healing through rest, poetry, and community. I am a proud Filipino with community organizing experience, working alongside activists with immigrant / migrant
communities; I am a second generation “mixed” kid, with all the complexity that comes with that identity. Laughter, joy, and kapwa are what survived my family’s history, and I hope to bring that with me into our work together. Together we will create our own relational dynamic and container for processing whatever you may bring. The work itself can sometimes be painful, messy, and hard but it can also be joyous, fulfilling, and shared. If you are at a point in your healing journey where the load feels too heavy to lift on your own, let’s do it together; sama-sama tayo!
