My name is Ella Salem, and I am a junior at The University of Arizona. I am majoring in psychological sciences and work as a research assistant in a cognitive psychology lab. In my free time, I love to read and play tennis and I play on the club tennis team at The University of Arizona. My mission is to learn and grow in order to better empathize and understand the perspectives of different communities in order to connect to individuals more personally. My goal is to get a PhD in clinical or counseling psychology in order to become a psychotherapist working with talk therapy. I am currently working with Tucson Counseling Associates as an intern and desk assistant and I will be working with billing, scheduling, and answering other patient questions.
