Mariah Erhart
Hello, I’m Mariah. I’m a trauma-informed therapist who is passionate about offering accessible, person-centered care that honors each person’s story, strengths, and goals.
I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Arizona.
I believe many of the challenges people face stem from experiences of disconnection and unmet relational needs. In our work together, my priority is to create a warm, inclusive, and supportive space where you feel safe to show up as you are. This provides a strong foundation to then work on deeper healing and change. To help facilitate this change, I utilize a variety of evidence based interventions including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR. This allows us to address relational, systemic, and neurobiological contributing factors.
One of my favorite ways to think about therapy is as if we are taking a walk together. I’m not here to force you down a particular path, but, if you allow me, I’ll walk alongside you helping you notice patterns, perspectives, and possibilities you may not have seen before so you can make informed, meaningful changes.
I have experience in both outpatient and residential settings, providing individual therapy and facilitating groups with clients across a wide range of ages and needs. I have a particular passion for working with teens and young adults as they navigate identity, relationships, life transitions, and the challenges that come with this stage of life. My approach is grounded in collaboration, safety, and flexibility, with the belief that therapy is most effective when it feels respectful, affirming, and tailored to your unique strengths.
In addition to my clinical work, I work professionally with organizations across Arizona to improve access to quality health care, especially in rural communities. Growing up in Montana, I saw firsthand how limited access to care can impact individuals and families. This experience continues to shape my deep commitment to reducing barriers to mental health support, including offering evening and weekend appointments to better meet your needs
