Sage Argyros
I believe that so much of what we struggle with isn’t a personal failing, it’s the result of living in a world that wasn’t designed for all of us to thrive.
Whether it’s navigating life as a trans person in an unaccepting society, carrying generational trauma from displacement or poverty, or simply existing in systems that don’t honor our full humanity, these experiences leave real marks on our minds and bodies.
My background in gender studies and queer theory, combined with my clinical training, helps me understand how oppression creates trauma—and how personal healing is a radical act of resistance. I came to therapy because I’m passionate about helping people heal so we can collectively create the communities and systems that will offer us the support, understanding, and acceptance we deserve.
In our sessions, you’ll find me warm, giggly, honest, and flexible—I meet you exactly where you are. We might have tears, grief, and rage at the world alongside laughter and moments of hope. That’s the fullness of being human, and there’s room for all of it here.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults, with particular expertise supporting those who are neurodivergent, exploring their identity, or navigating life after trauma, I integrate several approaches: DBT because I want to give you tangible skills that work both in our sessions and in your daily life; Internal Family Systems because understanding our inner world helps us befriend the parts of ourselves that might be keeping us stuck; and Somatic Experiencing because our bodies hold so much wisdom and we can get much farther in healing when we listen to and honor what they’re telling us.
