Joseph West

Joseph West holds Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Philosophy from the University of Utah, and a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Arizona.

Over the course of his career, he has worked as a real-estate professional, accountant, sociologist, and stay-at-home parent—bringing a broad and grounded perspective to his role at Tucson Counseling Associates.

In his capacity as Financial Director, Joseph is committed to shaping an organization that exists to serve both its workers and its clients. He believes that financial systems should work in service of people, not the other way around. Drawing on the cooperative values of transparency, shared responsibility, mutual care, and collective flourishing, he focuses on building and maintaining structures that support sustainability, equity, and trust.
